Time: 11:00AM EDT
Webinar Description: Plumber is an open-source R package that converts your existing R code into a web API; this enables you to leverage your R code from other platforms or programing languages. You could use Plumber to embed a graph created in R in a website, or to run a forecast on some data from a Java application. In this webinar, we’ll introduce the basics of Plumber and walk through the creation of a web API from scratch. We’ll then talk about intermediate techniques and what’s next for Plumber.
Logistics: Only 1,000 live attendees are allowed in the Webinar on a first come first serve basis. It is typical for many people who register to not attend (which is why registration does not guarantee access.) If for any reason you cannot make the webinar or cannot get in we will provide links to the recording as well as all materials within 48 hours.
Jeff Allen, Software Engineer - Jeff’s background is in Computer Science and bioinformatics; it was there that he first encountered R in 2007. After spending many years as an RStudio user and evangelist, he joined the team in 2013.
Webinar Recordings: We try to record every webinar we host and post all materials on our website.
